The red wine Barolo DOCG Fossati, vintage 2021 from the winery Cascina Adelaide has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Pronounced ruby red with brick-coloured reflections. Opens with a medicinal note, also some varnish, then sweet cherries and raspberries, before notes of marzipan and undergrowth. Polished attack, then opens again with lots of sweet fruit, before powerful tannins, lots of drive and length.
