The franciacorta Cuvée Monogram Franciacorta Rosé DOCG Brut, vintage 2014 from the winery Castel Faglia has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Brightest, lustrous pink with copper-coloured reflections. Delicately scented with ripe cherry, redcurrant, sloe and a slight yeastiness, as well as pink peppercorn spice and some milk chocolate. On the palate it shows tension, precision and polish, with crisp acidity, a saline note then a quite powerful and long finish.
