The red wine Karal Pinot Noir Südtirol DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Castel Sallegg has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Very intense ruby red. On the nose, a bouquet of very ripe fruit, wilted flowers and some cedar wood notes. Dense and round in the mouth, with a good tension in which the cherry note dominates, and a savoury finish with excessive roasted aromas.
