The red wine Cignale Colli della Toscana Centrale Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Castello di Querceto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
It has a classy bright ruby red colour. On the nose there is a potpourri of ripe red berry, some cranberry, also dried red rose, and a hint of pepper on the finish. On the palate it is full-bodied, quite grippy, with hearty tannins, and is compact with an elegant finish, and mineral components are emphatically present.
