The red wine La Corte Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Castello di Querceto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby red. Delicately savoury and leathery on the nose, also very slightly animalistic, sealing wax, cranberry. Juicy on the palate, on orange, elegantly taut, brisk, delicately salty, again beautifully savoury on the finish.
