Tasting Notes
A most unusual nose recalls an orange and olive oil cake: rich, soft, generous, fragrant with almond, citrus, baked sugar and rich, springy pastry. This initial notion is followed by hints of smoke and subtle top notes of roasted nuts. The palate unites these notions and adds the dimension of depth with reinforced flavours of hazelnut, grilled cashew, freshly grated orange zest and a touch of cappuccino. A most beautifully lively mousse swirls all these notions into palate and mind and builds a bridge between those heady aromas and that lovely, tertiary depth. The finish returns to a serene note of freshly grated orange zest and saltiness. Timeless.
