Tasting Notes
Florality, fresh white field mushroom, freshly cut green apple and a touch of Mirabelle. The palate has an enticing saltiness, a generous depth of red apple flesh, that gorgeous dusting of rye bread pepperiness, an an immense depth and concentration. The youthfulness is astonishing and the autolysis shows itself with the utmost umami subtlety and length. This is absolutely contained generosity, toned and tense and oh so sleek - in 2003. Remarkable.
