Tasting Notes
Very pure on the nose, hardly yeasty: nuanced floral Chardonnay, citrus, blueberry, Nashi pear. Light on the palate, fine, slightly salty, downright delicate acidity, yet vivid and giving length, with just enough roundness that a Blanc de Blancs can handle. Classy, elegant and unobtrusive, almost understated, mineral-primed. The wine has a freshness without sharpness or astringency. A high class aperitif, but equally well suited as a food companion to fish and poultry.
