The white wine Breslava Stúrovo Region, vintage 2017 from the winery Château Belá has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chrupka ružová, Traminer, Black Alicante
Breslava was a new variety developed atthe Agricultural Research Institute in Bratislava in 1960. It has a ripe, grapey spiciness, with buttery notes, apricot and a hint of Traminer. Also peppery-terroir spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is dense and full-bodied with civilised levels of acidity against a full-bodied background. Very savoury with an incredibly mineral finish.
