The red wine Le Petit Cheval, vintage 2005 from the winery Château Cheval Blanc has been rated in 2006 with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Emilion in France.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate brightening on the rim, delicately spicy on the nose, full of fragrant wild berries, cherries and plum confit are underlaid, a hint of nougat. Firm tannins on the palate, powerful, some dried fruit, good fruit sweetness, fine spicy notes in the aftertaste, can be drunk a little earlier, has a lot of charm.
