Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the restrained nose, aromas of subtle herbal spices, a touch of plum and nuances of tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied and delicately leafy, underlaid with red berry nuances on a saline-citrus finish. The finish is medium length with a subtle earthy astringency on the aftertaste. Already drinkable, this is a robust, savoury food wine.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby, purple reflections, faint brightening on the rim. Black cherry fruit on the nose, delicately floral with fine noble wood savouriness and a hint of tangerine. Juicy and freshly structured, red berry confit, vivid well integrated tannins, mineral and taut. Showing signs of maturity, but has ageing potential.
