Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. Initially a little restrained on the nose, with ripe dark wild berries, herbal spices and some tar and tobacco. The palate has medium complexity and discreet acidity with red wild berries and some leafiness on the spicy finish with an aftertaste of red berry confit. Already seems quite mature.
More about the tastingSweet on the palate, fine dark fruit, blackberries, present, well-integrated tannins, lingers well, highly elegant, persistent minerality, very good ageing potential, delicate bitter oranges on the finish. Great finesse.
