The red wine Château-Figeac, vintage 2012 from the winery Château Figeac has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Emilion in France.
Deep ruby garnet, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Delicate hints of herbs and vanilla, a fine touch of precious wood, black forest berries, liquorice and cassis, a hint of nougat, orange zest in the background. Medium body, red cherries, fine tannins, some chocolate on the finish, good freshness and balance, well-developed, gastronomic wine with charm, can already be drunk well. (2021 - 2040).
