More about the tastingVery dark garnet, purple reflections. Aromas of small black berryish fruit, a hint of graphite, a touch of honey and nougat, still somewhat closed. Tight-knit, darker berryish confit, firm, vivid tannins, very well structured and persistent, substantial and yet not exuberant. A great, precise Lafite, a Vin de Garde, fully lives up to its high standards.
