Tasting Notes
This wine shines in a strong copper red with a broad amber rim and a dark color core. Decant for at least 24 hours so that it can develop its full repertoire and beauty. The bouquet shines with its complex interplay of mushrooms, truffles, leather and tea leaves. Silky on the palate, prunes, licorice, a fine hint of chocolate, tobacco and candied orange zest. Perfectly mature tannins. Nuances of pickled raisins in the long finish. Still very powerful despite its age - therefore: the end of the enjoyment phase has not yet been reached. Good proof of the dynamism and depth that Serge Hochar often emphasizes in his wines.
