Tasting Notes
Medium carmine in colour with garnet reflections and a broad ochre rim. Sweet caramel nuances on the nose mingle with pickled cherries and roasted aromas - an inviting bouquet. Juicy, elegant and fresh on the palate with a finesse-rich acidity and ripe tannins. The texture is mineral and balanced, with some animalistic nuances on the finish which lingers well. A clear food companion with a salty finish, very typical Musar. (Drink - 2030).
More about the tastingBright, light garnet red, brick-colored reflections and rim. Cassis, red berries and plums flow from the glass, along with a hint of vanilla, tobacco and spices. Well-structured with red fruits, fine acidity and well-integrated tannins. Long, slightly mineral finish with hints of sage and eucalyptus. Already an exceptional wine and good food companion (lamb, venison), even if, according to Serge Hochar, it has not yet reached its peak. Great ageing potential.
