The red wine Château Musar Rouge, vintage 2014 from the winery Château Musar has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault from the region Bekaa plain in Lebanon.
Strong carmine, garnet reflections, subtle ochre rim brightening. Classic Musar nose with initially delicately volatile nuances, appears open, changes with air towards ripe heart cherry fruit. Fine floral notes, some liquorice, violet, also dried pear, develops in the glass. Full-bodied, good complexity, ripe plum, fine tannins, good freshness, shows length, mineral and persistent, sweet aftertaste, certainly further certain ageing potential. (cellar, 2025 -2040).
