The red wine Château Musar Rouge, vintage 2010 from the winery Château Musar has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Carignan from the region Bekaa plain in Lebanon.
Medium carmine garnet, garnet reflections, broad ochre rim. Fine herbal savouriness, delicate animalistic touch, sweet berry fruit, some caramel, multi-layered and inviting, tobacco and liquorice in the background. Juicy, elegant and silky, precise acidity, ripe, supporting tannins, fine sweetness on the finish, mineral and long-lasting, already well developed, yet still very young on the palate, promising further development and certain ageing potential.
