Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet with garnet reflections and a broad ochre rim. Restrained and delicately animalistic on the nose, along with ripe red forest berries and nougat - a developed bouquet, with a hint of sweat. Medium complexity to the palate which majors on sweet fruit nuances supported by ripe tannins. A hint of chocolate on the finish, this offers uncomplicated drinking pleasure and there is no reason to wait here. (Drink - 2028).
More about the tastingDeep ruby garnet. A bouquet of dark berries with spices, cedar wood, but also nutty and slightly oxidative nuances develops in the glass. Soft, almost velvety on the palate, dark fruit and sweet cherry, a hint of cocoa. Fine, almost powdery tannins. Long, mild finish. Great ageing potential, now a good accompaniment to roast or grilled meats.
