Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicate hint of black cherries, a touch of currant, discreetly of blackberries and candied orange zest. Juicy, fruity texture, shows a trace of ripe plums and figs, silky tannins, some chocolate on the finish, taut and lasting. Good length and certain ageing potential.
