Tasting Notes
Medium ruby garnet, delicate ochre coloring on the rim, the nose is restrained, a bit smoky, even seems a touch grapey on the nose, very charming sweetness on the nose, good firm body, good polish, the fruit like heart cherries, seems a bit alcoholic on the finish, soft whipped cream finish, an approachable wine with currant-chocolate flavors on the finish. (1999 from a Marie-Jeanne, Hardy Rodenstock tasting)
