The red wine Sancti Blasii Carmignano DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Colline San Biagio has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon
It has a brilliant shimmering ruby red colour. There are aromas of ripe raspberry and ripe cherry, as well as lovely mushroom, a hint of blood orange, rose hip, and light leather on the finish. It is vivid and polished on the palate, unfolding across the tongue in many layers, with juiciness and saltiness, and with plenty of persistence.
