The red wine Barolo Mosconi DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Conterno Fantino has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich ruby colour, with a slight garnet rim. Dense and compact nose, initially showing notes of leather and truffle, then rich blackberry, some plum, and clove in the background. Lush on the palate, showing plenty of ripe fruit, dark berry, then lots of supple rich tannins, unfolding in many layers, and with a long deep finish.
