The white wine »Großes Gewächs fumé« Sauvignon Blanc trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Divino has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Franconia in Germany.
Dense aromas of lychee, orange jelly and candied pineapple with a hint of smoky cassis. It hits the palate warm and juicy and offers its soft, buffered acidity on the finish. There it carries vanilla and Muscat notes and again and again candied yellow fruits. It has power and opulence. Smoked fish is certainly fun with it.
