The white wine »Terroir« Nordheim Vögelein Silvaner trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Divino has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fragrant and delicately savoury on the nose, with some exotic pineapple and light yellow citrus notes. Fresh on the palate with a fine, creamy texture, flavours of pebbles and glace cherries, and some sorrel. Very long-lasting juiciness, finely balanced acidity.
More about the tastingWarm aromas of passion fruit and mango stand out on the nose, underpinned by freshly mown grass. Thanks to the shell limestone soil, the mouthfeel is lighter and finer than the aroma suggests. Camomile blossom, lemon and fennel with a mineral undertone. The acidity builds cautiously towards the back. Goes well with marinated green asparagus with Parmesan shavings.
