The red wine Hermitage rouge Farconnet, vintage 2011 from the winery Domaine Jean-Louis Chave has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tournon-sur-Rhône in France.
Precise ripe cherry, black pepper and a hint of caramel, raspberry. Soft onset but not lacking in structure, ripe tannins gradually gain grip, fruit and minerality fill the large volume, seamlessly integrated acidity, a hint of sweetness at the end, a very charming, almost ready-to-drink Hermitage.
