Tasting Notes

Tasting from 15.03.2011

Deep ruby garnet in colour, with a broad ochre rim. Fine savouriness of ivy and a little chalk on the nose, underlaid with sour cherry, red berries and mandarin zest. The palate is elegant and full-bodied, with fine black berry fruit and balanced tannins leading into a mineral finish with cherry highlights. It's not yet completely harmonious, still needing time, but with good further development potential.
