Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre lightening on the rim. Delicate old wood spice, some nougat and herbs, black forest berries, ripe cherries, tobacco nuances. Deep, taut texture, ripe blackberry fruit, vivid, supporting tannins, mineral and salty in the finish, good freshness, sour cherries and ripe plums in the aftertaste, shows length and certain ageing potential.
