Attractive, ripe cherry fruit, delicate notes of licorice and blackberries, a subtle hint of fine wood, herbal spice, and nuances of candied orange zest. Juicy, velvety, with notes of preserved cherries, fine, supportive tannins, and salty minerality; already very well balanced. A full-bodied wine that pairs well with food; should definitely be decanted. Has aging potential for many years to come.
