Rich, sparkling ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Opens with notes of licorice, some undergrowth, followed by rich blackberry and dark currant. Hearty and gripping on the palate, shows lots of plump fruit, opens with pithy, dense tannins, green-spicy notes on the finish, firm pressure.
