The red wine Barolo Cannubi DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Elio Altare has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brightening ruby to garnet with clear rim. Very clear and delicate nose of cranberry, peach and rose petals, finely drawn and yet with great presence. Gripping tannin, tightly woven, still a little sandy in the middle, will benefit hugely from being given time to mature. Leave to rest for a few years!.
