The sekt Extra Brut Alta Langa DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Ettore Germano has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant straw yellow with persistent mousse. Candied orange and lemon zest on the nose, a hint of iodine, mineral undertone and delicate blossom. Very balanced and fine on the palate, spreads with airy mousse over the tongue, compact and exciting, precise and slightly salty on the finish.
