The sparkling wine Alta Langa Metodo Classico DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2017 from the winery Ettore Germano has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Delicately radiant golden yellow with silver reflections. Inviting on the nose with ripe apricot and baked pear, plus butter croissant and a hint of vanilla. Energetic on the palate, delicate yeast notes and lime, full of finesse, with good drive, fine mousse on the back palate, persistent finish.
