The red wine Selciaia Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Fassati has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright brick red with ruby coloured accents. Notes of black cherry and a composition of dark forest berries on the nose, with a hint of malt on the finish. Hits the palate with verve, showing lively play, rich savoury notes, good drive and compact length on the finish.
