The red wine Selciaia Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Fassati has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. The nose displays clear notes of fine wood, dark chocolate, dried plums and a liquorice echo. The palate is full-bodied, grippy, with hearty tannins and a very structured palate, a pithy finish with earthy notes, slightly drying aftertaste.
