Tasting Notes
A lovely hint of leather and earth appears first. This is followed by a bay leaf lift. The palate also has a smoky meat scent once on the palate, with firm tannins, still drying, and a bright acidity. This is mouth-watering and redolent of autumn leaf, with hint of smoked bacon and leather, but also oak leaf and soy sauce. A lovely memento of the late 1970s Tuscany with much savouriness.
