The red wine Chianti Rufina Riserva Vigneto Bucerchiale, vintage 2012 from the winery Fattoria Selvapiana has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Brilliant, bright ruby. Appealing and fragrant nose, lush raspberry and ripe dark cherry, plus fine pomegranate, an inviting bouquet. It develops strongly on the palate, opening with notes of ripe vivid fruit, with lots of finely meshed tannins, tightly woven, it has a very long finish.
