Tasting Notes
Very lifted, very ripe notions of polished mahogany, intense cherry preserved in Kirsch, a luscious ripeness. The palate has firm tannins still, and juicy acidity – but almost stripped of fruit. This is a frame of tannins and mouth-watering acidity – with aromatic echoes of Sangiovese: soy sauce, earthiness, traces of dried cherry. A wonderful historic record of Tuscany.
