The fortified wines SR0207 Marsala Semisecco Superiore Riserva DOC, vintage 2007 from the winery Cantine Florio has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grillo from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear dark amber with a tendency to copper. Intense and complex nose, aromas of salted almonds, preserved walnuts, wet leaves and molasses, also some date. Round and balanced on the palate, nice interplay between sweetness, body and alcohol, seems like a single pour, lingers long, with notes of hazelnut pastry and brioche.
