The fortified wines SR2715 Marsala Semisecco Superiore Riserva DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Cantine Florio has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grillo from the region Sicily in Italy.
Powerful dark copper. Opens on the nose with notes of rum-steeped fruit, some linseed oil varnish, roasted coffee beans, dark tobacco and dried apricots. On the palate there is a finely tuned sweetness, notes of hazelnut cake and brioche, resonates with long length, nicely balanced between sweetness and juiciness.
