Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Delicately smoky nuances of plums, nougat, sweet spices, underlaid with hints of heart cherries, a hint of suede, develops well in a large glass. Texturally rich, dark berry fruit, pleasant extract sweetness, some nougat, present tannin frame, well-integrated acidity, sticks well. Already showing its potential, but will only reveal its full potential in a few years' time, has definite ageing potential. A great accompaniment to braised meat and game dishes.
