The white wine Dalsheim Spätburgunder S, vintage 2017 from the winery Geils Sekt- und Weingut has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Black tea, cherry, but also lime aromas, dusty. Wonderful roundness on the palate, with a creamy base, supple, but not broad, instead enlivened by juicy motifs and a delicate acidity. Ripe, grainy tannins provide structure. Very stylish.
