The sekt Blanc de Noirs brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Geils Sekt- und Weingut has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Schwarzriesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Fresh aroma of light-coloured fruit, brioche, red apple, later smoke and some quince. Lively mousse on the palate, grippy and gripping, again light-coloured fruit, apple, some lime is added, fine phenolics, clear and delicate, consistently dry, fresh finish.
