An overtone of dried cranberry and dried sour cherry characterises the nose. It has that beautiful Zinfandel sweet-sour fruit that is so eternally enticing and so very Californian. The exuberant fruit is countered by a beautiful veil of tannins that crunch like silky, starched tulle. There is vivid freshness and fine nuance, yet the inherent generosity speaks volumes of this quintessential Californian grape.
