Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening at the edge. Fine oak savouriness, a touch of nougat, some blackberries, black fruit, a hint of bourbon vanilla in the background. Juicy, elegant and balanced, ripe red cherries, silky tannins, great finesse, persistent, appears light-footed and versatile, accessible but with secure ageing potential.
