The red wine Ahrweiler Rosenthal Spätburgunder GG, vintage 2016 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2018 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Bright coloured rim. Ethereal aroma, complex, mint, juniper, black pepper. Very supple and finely textured palate, an almost subtle tannic structure, and a juicy underlay. For all its delicacy, however, it also has substance and inner strength.
