Tasting Notes
The colour is translucent, even at the core, with just a hint of ruby still about left, the rim is broad and garnet-coloured. The nose is a wonderfully perfumed, fully aromatic take of ripest, roundest berry fruit- both blackberry and blueberry, juicy, bold, luminous. This is a step change from the bolder vintages of the early 2000s. There is wonderfully crunchy firmness of very fine tannins, and a shimmering edge of cocoa, but above all lovely freshness and acidity. Gorgeously balanced with real verve, real energy. Wonderful
