Tasting Notes
No longer opaque but still deep garnet colour with a broad garnet rim. An incredibly rich perfume, redolent of fresh plum with an incredible fruity lift, almost of Kirsch, with tertiary notes of subtle wet earth and an edge of autumnal oak leaf. More air reveals soy and mint. The body then comes in with overtones of maple syrup surrounding the fruit, something salty as well, with still a deep and profound sense of plum and berry fruit. Tannins are resolved, and the palate is a synthesis of creaminess, full, aromatic fruit and acidity. Wonderfully salty, savoury finish. Gorgeous.
