The red wine The Wine Collection Pinot Noir Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Südt. Blauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright ruby with a pale rim. Opens with slightly smoky notes, followed by fine wild raspberry, some blackberry, savoury forest floor. Grippy tannin in the attack and on the finish, shows a lot of drive, dark berry fruit, can still mature for a long time.
