The white wine Appius Weiss Südtirol DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Grauburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright pale straw yellow with soft green notes. The dense nose displays subtle smoky hints, then lots of ripe, vivid pineapple and banana fruit, plus some baked apple. Interwoven and rich on the palate, continuously evolving with a fine sweet texture, creamy and long lasting on the finish.
